Nov 08 - Rudd Gulitt is re-surfacing again, but on the other side of the Atlantic. He joins LA Galaxy as their new head coach.
Oct 18 - The Oranje is on track to finish second in the group and will get a chance to qualify in the playoff. At least we still have a chance.
Jan 07 - Happy New Year! Another year, and a clean start. 2007 is the qualifying year, the only goal is to get into Euro 2008! Best of luck, Oranje!
June
26 - This is probably the biggest disappointment!
It was a winnable game, the only difference was they finished
their chances, and we didn't. It was such a shame to exit
in such a horrible fashion!
June 21
- As everyone could predicted imagine, the game ended in a
tie. Now the real games begin!
June 16
- Well, it was another close call, but we'll take it. That
was some freekick by Van Persie! And we are through to the
next round!
June 13 - After
every team played the first game, the Dutch coaches are the
proudest bunch! They (Australia - Guus Hiddink, South korea
- Dick Advocaat and Netherlands - Marco Van Basten) all get
a win, and even though Trinidad and Tobago (Leo Beenhakker)
could only manage a tie, but that should be an outstanding
result for a team playing their very first WC finals! Cheers!
May 24 - I was approached by a publisher wanting to use my Oranje
story for a book targeted for this year's world cup. Only
to be cancelled in the last moment. Anyway, here is the story,
I called it "My Oranje Story (32nd
anniversary edition)."
